How do your prices compare to other contractors?

We focus on only top notch preparation in order to make our job last and we carry full workers compensation coverage as well as $5,000,000 in liability insurance. How does your guarantee work?
The Guarantee* of quality is backed by the company, which means that if anything goes wrong with your job as a result of work we performed the company will fix it free of charge for labour and materials for three years. Some companies offer a “paint only” guarantee where Pro Works Painting makes sure the painting job on your home will last for years. Many products that Pro Works Painting uses carry materials guarantees that extend beyond the three years that Pro Works offers.

Do you paint interiors?
We have specialized interior crews that are trained for interior work.
Do you paint high rise and multi-unit projects?
We do not do high rise projects. We specialize in doing multi-unit projects in an organized, efficient and timely manner.
What sort of preparation should I expect?
A standard level of preparation that enable us to guarantee the project will normally be quoted. This includes washing of all areas to be painting and doing and minor repairs and sanding necessary. You are the customer and, as such, you can dictate what level of preparation you would like. Some customers choose a minimal no guarantee level if they are looking to sell or planning on doing renovations in the near future. Some other customers will specify more of a deluxe preparation job and still others might like a full re-finish. Re-finish work is something that we typically will not give a guaranteed quote on. In other words, we will make an educated guess but will charge by the hour as it is impossible to tell how long re-finishing an area may take.
Is the quote I get from you a guaranteed quote?
In virtually all cases yes. If something completely unforeseen happens during the course of a job or colour changes are made mid way through a job, there can be changes to the quoted amount. Pro Work will never proceed with any extra work without first quoting it and getting a customer to sign off on it.
Do you do anything beyond painting?
Our specialty is painting and the minor repairs that normally go with painting. We also have expertise in waterproofing and the application of many specialty products.
What kind of safety precautions do you have?
Safety is the most important part of any job. Pro Works Painting’s Safety Program includes on sight manuals and weekly safety briefings of which are the most advanced in the industry. Feel free to ask the Crew Chief to see the on-site safety program. We are very proud of it. It is a good practice to make sure any contractor you have doing work on your home has an on-site written safety program as it lowers the risk of any possible problems.
What if I have a problem with something happening on a project?
While we seriously doubt that you will have a problem with one of our operators, we do have a customer service hot-line that will put you in touch with people that can help you right away.
What kind of paint products do you use?
While we will work with the customer on what he or she wants, we normally use the top line of products from any one of three major national suppliers; Dulux, Cloverdale, Sherwin Williams, and Benjamin Moore.
Do you remove wallpaper?
Yes, on a time and materials basis
