The faces of Pro Works

Alita Barber

Victoria

Alita Barber

My name is Alita Barber. I chose to launch a Pro Works Painting franchise in 2012 after operating a smaller, yet very successful, painting franchise for several years while attending the University of Victoria, where I earned a degree in Political Science with a Minor in Business. I have always believed in being my own boss as it allows me control in setting the highest standards for client care and service. The systems created by Pro Works Painting and my own dedication to providing a seamless client experience have allowed me to grow my business throughout Victoria and the surrounding communities for over a decade! My team of painters and I have completed major projects for clients such as BC Housing, done smaller commercial projects like Discovery Coffee, and countless beautiful residential homes, inside and out. The one constant is my dedication to my clients, through clear and concise quotes, detailing the whole painting process, making it easy to understand and efficient to produce. Outside of my life as a painting company owner, I own and operate a second business in a different field and am loving the balance of the two complimentary companies. In my downtime, I am passionate about travelling, and work hard every single day so that I can explore this big and beautiful world. I have a wonderful, energetic little French bulldog who keeps me active outside and when I’ve got the time I make it to classes at F45 for fitness as well as socializing!

Andy Capadouca

Nanaimo

Andy Capadouca

I moved my young family from Vancouver to Nanaimo in 2014 to launch a Pro Works Painting franchise, quickly building a strong base of clients and friends. Though the company was young, my experience, coupled with the backbone of the Pro Works Franchise, I quickly developed relationships with top tier contractors, builders, property managers and corporate clients. Our team has completed some fantastic projects over the last several years, including work on the Nissan and Mercedes dealerships, the Canadian Forces Base Comox Apartment Housing, and countless commercial and large residential projects.

The common theme between these projects is my commitment to our clients, ensuring we make the entire painting process smooth for everyone involved, including project managers and site supervisors. I believe in thorough communication and commitment to building lasting working relationships that are mutually beneficial, and I follow through with the things I commit myself and my team to. I love this business and I feel a deep gratification as I watch these projects come together and I am proud to be a part of this incredible community.

My name is Ceanna Bruce. I have been in the painting industry since I was 18 years old. I have a Bachelor in Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Accounting. For the past eight years, I have ran a painting business in the Moose Jaw, Regina & Surrounding Area. I pride myself in quality and customer satisfaction. Making the entire process from start to finish as easy as possible for the client is very important for me. Painting your home or business can be stressful, but I try to take some of the stress out of it! We have completed several thousand jobs, of many different shapes and sizes! You name it, I’ve probably painted it! I truly love what I do. It is so much more than running a business. I love watching the transformations that we create, beautifying the city one house or business at a time. Outside of painting, I like to live a very active lifestyle. In my time off I enjoy playing baseball and a good spin class. I look forward to working with you!

When running my business, my biggest concern is your happiness and the quality and efficiency of any work we perform. My crews and I pride ourselves on our ability to deliver amazing, finished products in a timely fashion. As a team we have thousands of hours of experience, hundreds of completed projects, and just as many referrals, 5-star reviews, and beautiful before and after photos that I love sharing with new and repeat clients. What sets me apart from the other contractors you will work with is how much I care about your project going smoothly. This means showing up when we say we will, and being polite, efficient, courteous, clean and professional from start to finish. Through my attention to detail and clear communication I will show you what makes our standard for excellent customer service different from the rest of the industry.

I chose to run a Pro Works Painting franchise because I know I can trust the systems and support the franchisor offers. Everything from how we as a company recruit painters, train painters, market our business, and then produce our projects is professional. I run a systemized, and structured business with over a dozen staff members, multiple company vehicles, and a full-time general manager. I strive to provide excellent service from first contact to the ongoing relationship to meet any current and future painting needs.

I’m always striving to improve myself and my business to help build a stronger community around me. Seeing my painters and clients have a great experience with the business I have built up for the last several years is endlessly gratifying! I hope to be able to build my business to the point where I can be a hands-on father to my future children. Being able to be there for every soccer game, and every dance recital is the goal. I’m confident that if I keep striving to operate my business to the best of my abilities I will be where I want to be in my life when the time comes.

Jonah Stark

Fraser Valley

Jonah Stark

Before joining Pro Works Painting, I had already been in the painting field with another company. I saw how Pro Works Painting operated and the value they provide to clients and franchisees, so I bought in.

During my time running a painting business, my crews have produced nearly 1000 projects in the Fraser Valley. I’ve always believed in long term planning, and this has allowed me to prioritize earning a 100% satisfaction rating on each project; positive word of mouth will allow me to expand my business more efficiently than any other form of marketing. My crews have completed multiple commercial and strata projects in the Fraser Valley and have painted many beautiful residential homes, inside and out.

One consistent piece of feedback I receive from clients is that my communication is excellent; I will always let you know what is going on with your project so that you aren’t left wondering. In fact, last I checked the most common word used on our 5-star Google reviews (Pro Works Painting Fraser Valley) was “communication”. You will receive a clear and concise quote which details the exact painting process for your home or business, leaving no questions unanswered and allowing our crew to efficiently produce the job.

When I’m not working, you will often find me going for walks in Fort Langley with my wife Manami, son Roman, and our puppy Cleo. I also enjoy playing beach volleyball and soccer.
